Sharat Hospital started its journey as Sharat Laser Eye Hospital in 1993. They distinguished themselves as the first and the only centre to provide Ophthalmology Subspecialty and Pediatric Ophthalmology services in the Telangana region.
Sharat Hospital was the first to introduce Medical Retina in the Warangal district and the first practitioner in the state to have performed Phacoemulsification Surgery in 1995. In 2013, they became the first SHCO NABH Eye hospital in the then-combined state of Andhra Pradesh. They have also adopted 44 villages in and around the Warangal district, where they performed free Cataract Surgeries and established 2 Vision Centres delivering primary eye care for the needy.
With this merger, Sharat Hospitals will be able to expand its services to over 15 hospitals in the Twin Telugu states. The merger with Sharat Laser Eye Hospital adds immense value to every service with state-of-the-art technologies and procedures.
About
Dr. C. Sharat Babu is the man who established Sharat Laser Eye Hospital – a NABH-certified, and QCI-approved eye hospital in the city of Warangal. He is also an expert Cataract Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. C. Sharat Babu led a team of dedicated super-specialist doctors, giving light to over a million patients, and also has to his credit for carrying out 1 lakh Cataract Surgeries by the Phacoemulsification Technique. Recently, Dr. C. Sharat Babu has joined hands with Maxivision Eye Hospitals, under the joint name – Sharat Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, to be the leading eye care network across different locations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with a combined experience of 50 years.
